My mother always taught me to help out others when I can. She would tell me multiple times in my life that “If you have the ability to give, whether it’s with your time or financially you should. If you have the ability to do both, then you do both.” I have tried to always implement that in the way I live my life and in helping with various community projects I am passionate about, I am able to contribute to a cause I believe in and help out others in need.
